Orion: Dino Horde

Orion: Dino Horde is a multi-player co-op shooter with a unique twist. You get to fight of waves of DINOSAURS! Who doesn't want to take down a Raptor with a Semi-Automatic rifle? We know that it caught our attention and that is why we contacted Spiral Game Studios and asked if it would be OK for us to review their game. They were gracious enough agree and we would like to thank them.

Orion: Dino Horde can be downloaded from Steam or check out their website by clicking the button below.

Mike's Review      8.0/10

I spent about 3 hours the other night playing Dino Horde in multi-player mode to compose this review. Its was quite very entertaining. I used a mouse, keyboard and game pad setup which seemed to be the way to play. The different game modes are fun. I had some issues switching from the 1rst to 3rd person view. The movement in 3rd person was quite chunky and felt like it was barely animated at all. I'm sure that in a future patch this can be fixed. Now as for the game itself. Really good. I mean where else can you hunt down a dino with a shotgun, sniper rifle or pistol. The multi-player is really fun as well. Trying to take down your friends with a T-Rex is priceless! All together I gave this game a 8.0/10. Would have been higher but somethings need to be fixed. Other will say the score is way to high but my opinion is what I go by. There are way to many games that come out over priced and under developed.

So if you want a great co-op game to play with your friends at a really good price get Dino Horde.

Maria's review

It was really fun to watch Dino Horde. The idea of fighting off dinosaurs is unique and intriguing. The guns weren't too flashy and sometimes there was a lot of characters on the screen so it was hard to keep track of what was going on. It was cool that when Mike was playing multi-player and he died that his character wasn't stuck looking at the same area. He was able to free roam in almost a spirit-like state so you could keep watching the other players.
